View Subcontractor Documents in the Field
Get the documents you need, wherever you are. Use the Breadcrumb mobile app to quickly view approved subcontractor documents, directly from Host view, provided you have the required permissions
What you can (and can’t) view in the field

✅ Approved subcontractor documents can be viewed in the app (commonly SDS and SSSP).

❌ Pending or Rejected documents won’t show in the “Supplier Documents” area in the app (they stay in the Approvals workflow until resolved).

✅ If a document is Inactivated/Expired, it can still be visible for reference in the Supplier Documents area (but it’s labeled as inactivated).

You can’t see any subcontractor docs in the app
What to check
- Is the document approved? Pending documents don’t appear in the Supplier Documents tile in-app (they appear in Approvals instead).
- Do you have the right access? Some Company Docs are configured so only hosts can access (or only the uploading supplier can access).
- Is it the right site? Company Docs are site-specific in many setups.
A worker says they can’t view a document on check-in
What to know
- Workers can only view/sign documents if the document kind is configured to show for workers at check-in (and only after it’s approved).
- If sign-off is disabled, it won’t appear in their check-in flow (even if hosts can view it).
You need to view insurance docs in the field
- Insurance viewing is often web-portal-first (it may not be available in the mobile app depending on how the account is configured).
Quick rule of thumb

In the field (app): use Supplier Documents to quickly open approved SDS/SSSP.

In the trailer (web): use Companies → select subcontractor → Company Docs for the full, filterable document list and upload history.
