Start an Evacuation Roll Call
Account for everyone on site with Evacuation Roll Call. Quickly confirm the safety of all workers currently checked in, making emergency responses and evacuation drills faster, more organised, and more reliable.
What this means
-
The roll call list is based on live attendance (who is currently checked in).
-
As you mark people safe, Breadcrumb builds a timestamped record of who was accounted for.
When you’ll use this
-
Fire alarm or other emergency evacuation
-
Planned evacuation drills required by the GC/site safety program
Step-by-step (Mobile app)
Common Issues
Someone is missing from the roll call list
What to check
- They may not be checked in (not in live attendance)
What to do
- Confirm whether they checked in under the correct site today; if they never checked in, they won’t appear in the list
People say they didn’t receive the evacuation alert/siren
What to check
- Phone notification settings disabled, battery optimization/background restrictions, or no internet connection
What to do
- Have them enable notifications and allow the app to run in the background; ensure they have data/Wi‑Fi
Why this matters
- Creates a consistent, auditable evacuation record
- Helps the site team account for everyone quickly without paper lists or radio check-ins
Need help?
If you can’t see the Evacuation tool in Host view, contact your foreman or GC site team to confirm you have the site host permissions needed to run evacuations for that jobsite.
