Request Revision of Orientation
Need a worker to correct their submission? Request a Revision sends the orientation back for updates, allowing the worker to fix incorrect details, such as the wrong visitor type, subcontractor company, or other information, and resubmit it for review.
What this means
-
The orientation is marked as needing updates (often shown as “Changes Requested” or “Revision Requested”).
-
The worker must revise and resubmit, and then it returns to you to review again.
When you’ll use this
-
Wrong Visitor Type (e.g., Visitor instead of Subcontractor)
-
Wrong subcontractor company selected
-
Incorrect answers or missing required steps

What to check
- Returning workers may be routed straight to the Check In page first
What to do
- Have them tap Check In; the revised orientation should pop up during the check-in flow
Worker keeps selecting the wrong visitor type/company
What to do
- Update their Visitor Type/subcontractor company in User Directory (web portal) so it auto-fills next time, then have them rescan and resubmit
Need help?
If you can’t see the Request Revision button, you likely don’t have orientation approval permissions on that site—contact your foreman or GC site team to confirm your role has approval access.
