Reporting in Breadcrumb

Reporting in Breadcrumb provides visibility into site attendance, orientation compliance, and workforce activity. Use reports to review site records, support audits, and export key project data based on your access permissions and portal experience.

What this means

  • Reporting is mainly done through Breadcrumb registers (like Attendance and Orientations), where you can search, filter, and review records.

  • For Procore-connected projects, some data also flows into Procore (for example, attendance to the Procore Daily Log), so teams can report from the system they already use.

When you’ll use this

  • When you need proof of who was on site for a specific date range (audits, incidents, claims, or compliance checks).

  • When you need to confirm who has completed orientation and what’s pending, approved, or rejected.

Step-by-Step

Use Procore for jobsite-level reporting (when integrated)

  • If your project is connected to Procore, attendance data can appear in Procore’s Daily Log.

  • Use Procore reporting when you need jobsite reporting standardized across many projects.

Export and share results

  • In some areas of Breadcrumb, you can export registers or download record PDFs (for example, downloading an orientation record as a PDF).

  • If you can’t export what you need (or exports are limited in NextGen for a specific report), use a workaround:

    • Pull the register view you need in Breadcrumb (or in the legacy portal if available)

    • Or use Procore reporting if the data is already syncing there

Common Issues

I can see the report but can’t export it

  • Some reports have export limitations depending on portal version and the report type. If you’re blocked, try pulling the same data from the legacy version (if your org still has it) or use Procore reporting for integrated data.

The data is only per project and we need a multi-project view

  • Breadcrumb reporting is often site/project-based. For corporate or regional rollups, most teams use Procore reporting, or they export data and combine it in Excel/Power BI (if your org has an API key and internal BI process).

Attendance “should be in Procore” but we can’t find it

Attendance typically shows in the Procore Daily Log (not as a Breadcrumb folder export). Confirm:

  • the project is integrated
  • the date range is correct
  • the Daily Log view is being checked (not Documents)

Why this matters

  • Accurate reporting protects the jobsite during audits, incidents, and disputes by showing exactly who was on site and when.
  • It gives admin teams a reliable way to track orientation compliance and catch gaps before they become job site risk.

Need help?

If you can’t access a register, can’t export what you need, or aren’t sure whether a project is integrated with Procore, contact your foreman or GC site team to confirm your permissions and the jobsite setup.
